The Moray Firth
Trainee Tour Guide Tess visits the Moray Firth to see if she can spot seals and dolphins. Inverness stands at the mouth of the River Ness at the end of the Great Glen. The water flows into the Moray Firth, Scotland’s largest estuary, where fresh water from the river mixes with salt water from the sea. The Firth is home to dolphins and seals.
