Diversification of farms
Presenters, Tess and Sprocket, visit a dairy farm in the south west of Scotland. The farm has diversified and changed from producing cheese to making ice cream. There is also a themed adventure centre, built to attract visitors and help the farmers make a living. In contrast, on the east coast of Scotland where textiles were traditionally the dominant industry, local people now work in electronics.
