The Seder meal (pt 3/3)
A Jewish family are having the Seder meal at Pesach (also known as Passover). The woman of the house says a blessing over the candles and the male symbolically washes his hands. The family take turns to read from the Haggadah, a special book that tells the story of Moses leading the Jews from slavery in Egypt. The family drink wine or grape juice and spill ten drops to symbolise each of the ten plagues.
