In a studio-theatre is a musical group, consisting of bass, guitar, drums, saxophone, percussion and three backing singers - accompanying three young people performing an up-tempo rock song. As they sing, the backing singers sign the words of the song in Makaton. At the end of the song an animated Widgit symbol for ‘your turn’ appears on-screen. The song is repeated but without the three young people on-camera. The camera focuses on the backing singers - encouraging viewers to sing the song’s refrain with the group. A third pass provides a karaoke opportunity.
