The Great Wall and how to get there by bus
In an attempt to improve its traffic infrastructure, Beijing has been widening new roads and building flyovers. But it still has a problem dealing with the chaotic mix of buses, taxis, cars and bicycles, not to mention pedestrians. Traffic jams are a daily phenomenon. Luckily, you can get away from it all, because just to the north of the capital lies one stretch of the Great Wall, one of the country's most popular tourist sites.
