Would you pay to use the Blackwall Tunnel?
We are talking about the Blackwall Tunnel this morning because a consultation to bring in a toll to use it is underway. How would you feel about having to pay Β£2 to go through it - just to fund another tunnel at Silvertown?
Transport for London are saying that there is no budget to pay for another crossing, which is needed because of congestion - and they see it as the 'most appropriate' way of paying for it would be to to charge Blackwall Tunnel users as well as users of the new tunnel.
Can you afford that extra Β£2? At a time when we are having to pay more for fuel, on top of that you have got the increased crossing charge at Dartford, and if you go into London in the week you have got the congestion charge.
Also on the programme, disabled people are facing a increasing levels of verbal and physical abuse from fellow passengers on public transport.
A recent report we covered on this programme claimed nearly half have suffered discrimination on buses and trains. With reports of discrimination by bus drivers and train staff also on the rise!
The Brandon Trust charity is speaking out against the abuse and mistreatment of people with learning disabilities on public transport. Their annual conference has revealed struggles with a lack or loss of access as the main issue those with learning disabilities are facing today - causing many to feel isolated and struggle with employment.
We speak Joe Jones, Joe has learning disabilities and has experienced abuse and bullying on public transport.
And, back in May at the start of the cricket season, we spoke to some of the members of the Kent Women's Team.
The season is now over and they came top in County Championship and only last week they were up at Buckingham Palace collecting their trophy from Prince Phillip.
We speak to England internationals Lydia Greenway and Laura Marsh and the team manager, Lin Martin.
