Thousands Hit By Fuel Poverty

The Citizens Advice Bureau and Northampton Borough Council are warning fuel poverty will see more people join the 340,000 East Midlands households who spend more than 10% of their income on heating.

More people will be pushed into fuel poverty this winter after the recent hike in energy costs according to the Citizens Advice Bureau and Northampton Borough Council. Three hundred and forty thousand households in the East Midlands are spending more than 10% of their income on heating their homes, according to government figures. Stuart talks to Mo Baker, Head of Customer & Support Services at Wellingborough Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔs, one of the partners behind the Fish debt advice shop in Wellingborough, and to Angela Knight, Chief Executive of Energy UK.
