Up to 625 properties could be built at Pineham, to the South-West of Northampton, but part of the site would be on the flood plain. Many local people have vivid memories of when the floods in 1998.

Up to 625 homes could be built at Pineham to the South-West of Northampton. Part of the site would be flood plain land and people in nearby villages are worried about a repeat of the devastating floods of 1998. Reporter Carrol Weston talks to Madeline Headford and to David Boniface, both from Kislingbury. Stuart talks to Councillor Brendan Glynane, who sits on both Northamptonshire County Council and Northampton Borough Council. He is also Chairman of Nene Flood Prevention Alliance.
