Do we need more rules for cyclists?

After an amazing Tour de France win and now Olympic gold - Bradley Wiggins is a national hero.

Only a few weeks back Europe's biggest cycle park opened here in Kent, just outside Gravesend.

Fresh from winning his time trial gold yesterday, Bradley Wiggins called for tighter laws to protect road cyclists, including making wearing helmets compulsory. He was talking after a 28-year-old cyclist was killed last night after being hit by a bus that was shuttling journalists between Olympic venues in East London. Is he right?

This comes only days after 14-year-old Kyle Coen was out cycling on his bike when he was killed in a hit-and-run accident near Sittingbourne.

Do we need more rules for cyclists? Is it all down to them?

If not - who is the danger on our roads?

Are you a cyclist? Do you feel safe on Kent's roads?

Also, we speak to Jane Hofmeister, who after the death of her 13-year-old daughter Amy at the hands of an unlicensed driver - has started a nationwide road safety campaign.

We hear your views and stories.
