All The Bells + Where are the lifebelts?

Bells are rung across the country and around Northamptonshire to celebrate the opening of the 2012 Olympic Games. The Breakfast Show broadcasts a live selection from Big Ben to a bicycle bell.

Bells, from Big Ben at Westminster to a bicycle bell at Hunsbury, ring out to mark the opening of the Olympic Games. The Breakfast Show hears bells at Gayton Marina, Yardley Hastings, Corby and Hunsbury, where Jack Douglas rang his bicycle bell.

As concerns continue about people swimming and playing in open water, Stuart follows up reports from listeners about missing, stolen or vandalised lifebelts, talking to David Baines from Northampton Water Skiing Club and to Irven Forbes from the Environment Agency.

Plus:

objections continue to the proposed marina at Onley;

the Northampton based marketing company that has designed hopsitality areas at the Olympic games;

the Corby catering lecturer serving food at the Games.
