Queen Victoria - the first day
Woman’s Hour looks back on the reign of Queen Victoria, who celebrated her Diamond Jubilee a hundred years ago. We hear from Deirdre Murphy, curator of the new ‘Victoria Revealed’ exhibition, about the day in 1837 when Victoria was just 18 years old when she was woken early and told that she was now Queen.
