Optimistic Ukraine fans after their elimination from Euro 2012, thriving fan parks, Owen Hargreaves on his future and Tahiti.

Optimistic Ukraine fans tell us that their country’s elimination from Euro 2012 at the group stage hasn’t killed them and Andriy Shevchenko remains their champion.

We hear about the thriving fan parks across Europe that play host to millions of football supporters who travel there to soak up the atmosphere.

The former Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City and England midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, tells us that retirement is a real possibility at the age of just 31. He admits he didn’t celebrate when City won the title last year and says the 2006 England team in which he starred had better individuals than the current squad but Roy Hodgson’s side are playing well collectively.

And Eddy Etaeta, the coach of Tahiti, says his players were wide-eyed with surprise and excitement as the realisation sank in of their participation in the 2013 Confederations Cup.
