Al Murray lists the contradictory qualities essential for the England manager. He says you can’t be English because you’ll lack style, but you must be English because fans want the bulldog spirit. You shouldn’t read the newspapers because it will destroy you, but you must read the newspapers so you know what’s going on. On a personal note Al says you mustn’t know the words to Three Lions because it’s sad but you must Scotch Eggs…..??
