Clare McDonnell sits in with chat, your calls plus Kent news and events as they happen.

Who is a good role model for our teenage girls?

Girlguiding UK says a generation of young girls have no strong role models because they are obsessed with celebrities and realty TV stars.

They say girls are using characters from the reality TV show The Only Way is Essex as a blue print on how to live their lives, they are being encouraged to live a glitzy champagne lifestyle.

Many of the girls surveyed believe drinking and drug taking is acceptable and several of those surveyed admitted taking risks and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones in order to feel accepted, they might drink alcohol or have underage sex.

There was a worrying lack of successful sportswomen and business women in the survey and when it came to their own career choices girls still dismissed jobs such as engineering as a "job for the boys".

Is there anyone out there that you can name who is a great role model for our young women today? Or is it all about instant fame and shallow aspirations ?

Who did you look up to when you were younger?
