Lawrence Pollard finds out how Londoners like to have fun - and goes out for a Friday night on the town.
This month on My London Lawrence Pollard finds out how Londoners like to have fun - and goes out for a Friday night on the town.
He meets young clubbers as well as Russ Henderson, the 88 year old jazz musician who 'accidently' started the Notting Hill street Carnival by going on a walkabout with his steel band, and who's been part of London's jazz scene since the 1950s.
Actor Simon Callow, famous for his roles in films like Four Weddings and a Funeral and for performing Charles Dickens and Shakespeare on London's stage, gives Lawrence an insider's tour of the West End theatres.
And South Sudanese supermodel Alek Wek explains why she finds inspiration in London's Victoria and Albert Museum.
