Do we push our pupils hard enough?

Are you a pushy parent? Is it a bad thing or a good thing to push our children to achieve? Grammar schools are failing to stretch the most able pupils according to research from the University of York.

Is your child being allowed to coast - do you want the school to push them harder?

Were you pushed enough as a child - do you wish your school or your parents had encouraged you more?

Can you push children too hard? Is it counterproductive in the end?

They are the best in their sport in the country. They are County Champions and have five international players in the squad but how much do you know about the Kent Ladies Cricket Team?

For the first time in their history, the Ladies Cricket team are going to be playing their home games at the St Lawrence ground in Canterbury. The ground previously reserved for the men. It is a massive step for them, but they still have a long way to go to gain the respect and attention that their male colleagues enjoy.

We caught up with the team manager and one of the players, Jo Watts.
