Overseas students visa changes & women forced from home by domestic violence

The University of Northampton expresses its concerns about new visa rules for overseas student, while research into domestic violence reveals how many women are being forced from their own homes.

Stuart talks to Delia Heneghan, the Director of the International Office at the University of Northampton, about new visa rules affecting post-graduate overseas students. Delia says that it could hit the number of students attending the University and that the UK as whole could miss out.

Stephanie Challace from the Sunflower Centres in Northamptonshire tells Stuart about the help available in the county for women forced out of their own homes by domestic violence. It follows research presented to the British Sociological Association's annual conference describing the "forced migration" of thousands of women from violent homes.
