Corby Cube report leaked to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Northampton

A controversial report into the overspend on the Corby Cube has been seen by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Northampton. Reporter Martin Borley has the details on today's show.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Northampton reporter Martin Borley has see the main parts of the confidential, controversial report into the overspend on the Corby Cube. On today's show Martin tells Stuart Linnell that the report alleges that Corby Borough Council "lost control" of the project.

The programme also hears from project architect Roger Hawkins and from the leader of Corby Borough Council, Councillor Tom Beattie.

Also today, after national newspapers described a rough camp site at Barnes Meadow in Northampton as a migrant's shanty town, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Northampton's Breakfast Show investigates what is happening there and asks Northampton Borough Council about plans to clean it up.

Managament consultant John Norrie tells Stuart why he's decided to stand as an independent candidate for the job of Northamptonshire's elected Police Commissioner, Northamptonshire County Councillor Ben Smith explains why the authority is appealling for the public to help with recycling packaging, and the Chair of the Northamptonshire Blue Badge Tourist Guides Association Geoff Baguley tels Stuart that the county has more to offer to tourists than people realise.

There's also a review of the Easter Bank Holiday sport and a check on how Wicksteed Park fared over the four-day weekend.
