The One Show is looking for 1,000 members of the public to take part in an epic relay for this year's Sport Relief campaign – it's 'The One Show 1000'.

The event will see people from all over the UK join forces to run one mile each in a 1,000 mile relay - from the Isle of Mull to the Mall in London.

Starting on Friday 16th March, The One Show 1000 will travel around the UK, running 24 hours a day, for 10 days, and taking in towns across Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales before a grand finale into the Sport Relief Mile on the Mall on Sunday 25th March.

Highlights from the event will be shown on The One Show throughout the week, and the finish will happen live during the Sport Relief Mile Show, presented by The One Show hosts Alex Jones and Matt Baker on Sunday 25th March on Â鶹ԼÅÄ One.
