"It Is What It Is"
In 2009, Deller toured America with βthe conversation piece from hellβ: a car that had been destroyed in a Baghdad bomb attack. Travelling with him and engaging Americans in conversation about the situation in Iraq were an Iraqi citizen and an American soldier. The project was called βIt Is What It Isβ.
