Is the hosepipe ban just a gimmick?
Water companies wasted more than 3,000m litres of water every day last year. Kent's biggest water company Southern failed to meet its leakage targets.
Is there any point in us making small changes to our domestic water use? There are about 1.3m of us in Kent - we use on average 165 litres of water a day.
Is it down to us to save water? And should we be encouraged or forced? Do you accept the hosepipe ban - or should you be allowed to use as much water as you like as long as you pay for it? Would you defy the ban? Is a hosepipe ban the answer?
Dave says: "Why do I have to pay water rates when I can't use water? This must be one of the few businesses that charge you in advance for something then tell you you can't have it but you won't get your money back."
Is it worth saving money?
