What happened the last time you went to A&E?

Is your local A&E department full of time-wasters? Or people who are genuinely ill or injured. What were you there for? How long did you wait? Were the staff over-stretched? Did you get good treatment? In retrospect, did you really need to go?

What happened to young unmarried women in the fifties and sixties who got pregnant? A dangerous backstreet abortion? A rushed marriage to a terrified young man. Or a shameful pregnancy and birth and a little baby given up for adoption.

Maybe you had a secret baby you could not keep, or you got your girlfriend pregnant. I wonder how your story turned out. We meet the Kent woman whose tiny son was given away because her family could not stand the shame.

We hear your views and opinions.
