Chummy (Miranda Hart) returns from an evening out with PC Noakes and tells Trixie (Helen George), Cynthia (Bryony Hannah), and Jenny (Jessica Raine) who are gathered in the kitchen at Nonnatus House of the night's events. Sister Bernadette (Laura Main) offers Chummy some advice, while the nurses encourage her to attend a dance with the policeman, offering to accompany her to the festivities as moral support. Sister Evangelina (Pam Ferris) joins the group and makes her opinion known.
