Caer y Twr hill fort
Caer y Twr, an Iron Age hillfort on the top of Holyhead Mountain is surrounded by defensive stone walls. The site was also used by the invading Roman army where remains of a stone watch tower still remain. The views from the copa (welsh word for summit) are impressive as it overlooks Holyhead harbour, the LlΕ·n Peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia.
