With the help of experts from across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight and using Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ South’s archive.
This week the programme returns with an examination of the south’s Olympic connections.
Bruce visits Timsbury Manor near to Romsey and discovers the house was a training centre for the 1964 games.
In 1908, an event took place for the first and only time in the history of the games. Peter Burt, historian at the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Poole explains the club’s role in the motorboating event.
