On patrol in the forest one day, the Camelot knights stumble across an eerie place, surrounded by coloured rags tied to the trees. With their swords and hackles raised, the uneasy knights venture further into the gloom.

Realising they have discovered a shrine, Merlin warns the knights that it could be cursed. As the wind whistles spookily through the rags, a shrieking crow suddenly flies out at the tense knights. Arthur has had enough and orders them all to leave.

But Elyan lingers behind. Spying a well, the thirsty knight laps up the water with gusto. Looking into its depths, he suddenly sees a young boy staring back at him with hollow eyes. The frightened knight backs away, but what have his actions prompted?
