Are you just being snobby about your Kent village?

There are so many planning rows at the moment, last week it was Meopham, villagers there are angry about hundreds of new houses. In Whitfield near Dover there are plans for thousands, and that is not going down too well. With that in mind do you have any sympathy for the villagers of Penshurst near Tonbridge who are fighting plans for a development of six new houses.

Affordable houses for rent for local people.

What's the problem? Are they all just a bunch of snobs?

What is more important in your Kent village, preserving the appearance or making sure that families who do not have lots of money can carry on living there too.

Do you ever think about how much your doctor earns? Is it any of your business?

A family doctor in East Kent is among one of the highest earners in the country, amassing annual earnings of over Β£770,000.

Is there anything wrong with earning lots of money?

Bashing people who make more money than we do seems to be a growing pass time, politians, footballers, bankers and now doctors.

But why? Do we despise people who earn a lot of money? Is it jealousy? Or something deeper?

We hear your views and opinions.
