Shouldn't every woman who wants a Caesarian section have one?

Why shouldn't every woman who wants a Caesarian section have one?

Why shouldn't every woman who wants a caesarian section have one? The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is issuing new guidelines which will give all women the right to have a birth by Caesarean section, even if there is no medical need.

Previously, it was believed women should give birth naturally unless there was a medical reason for a Caesarean. What happened in your family? Did you have a choice about the birth of your child?

If a woman chooses to avoid a natural delivery should she be forced to pay the difference of around Β£800? We hear your views and opinions.

What is it like being in a wheelchair in modern Kent? Are you limited to where you can go and how you get there? There are two stories in the news today about disabled access that got us thinking how we would go about our daily lives if we could not walk.

Wheelchair users in Bearsted have launched a scathing attack on Network Rail saying the company has failed them. They say a new bridge at the station gives them no access, meaning they face a lengthy journey just to get off trains coming in from London.

Also, Helen Miller from Tunbridge Wells says she cannot board many of the buses running from the town centre to the out-of-town hospital because they do not have ramps for electric wheelchairs.

What is it like where you live? Are you in wheelchair, or perhaps you use a mobility scooter? Is your Kent town or village wheelchair friendly? We hear your stories.
