Chris Evans hosted the programme with guest appearances from other Radio 2 presenters, and live music from Will Young; Lenny Kravitz in his first UK performance in almost three years; Chic; James Blunt; Caro Emerald; as well as Jools Holland and Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, with guests Sandie Shaw and Ruby Turner.
Also appearing were Beverly Knight, The Pierces, and the best folk live experience from eleven-piece big band Bellowhead.
