Dover-based charity LionAid says it is saddened by the UK Independence Party auctioning an antique lion skin and head at its annual gala dinner on Friday. Dominic King talks to LionAid trustee Chris MacSween. UKIP said it does not support the modern day hunting of lions for their skins.

Dom hears how Pixie Lott surprised pupils at Aylesford School. The 20-year-old songstress, who was born in Kent, performed her latest single along with her other hits at Aylesford School Sports College.

Only Fools and Horses was broadcast for the first time 30 years ago today. Created and written by John Sullivan, it ran for 10 years and reached an audience of 24 million people. Dom talks to Mick Tomlinson, from Thanet District Council, who remembers when the cast and crew came to Margate to film the 1989 Christmas special.
