First transmitted in 1983, this episode follows the recruits as they learn that the regimental motto "Utrinque Paratus" ("Ready for Anything") means what is says at times of war. The recruits have high hopes that they will be called upon to serve and perhaps gain battle honours. The end of training is cut short by the need to be on 24hr standby for Falklands duty.
