Kent youth services, Kent police tattoos and St Mary's Amateur Boxing Club

Dom hears what young people think about Kent County Council proposals, which could see 19 youth clubs close. Also, Dom talks to St Mary's Amateur Boxing Club's head coach as their building is sold.

Dominic King hears what young people think about Kent County Council proposals, which could see 19 youth clubs close. They have been meeting at County Hall in Maidstone. There are plans to replace what is currently available with 12 hub youth centres, one for each of the county's boroughs and districts.

Dom discusses tattoos as some Kent police officers say the force's rules on body art could now be out of date. Kent Police say officers must cover up any tattoos because they could potentially offend members of the public or colleagues, or could bring discredit to the police service.

Also, Dom talks to Dave Bowler, St Mary's Amateur Boxing Club's head coach, about the sale of the building they use. Its base was bought at auction after the landlady died. The future of the club is uncertain as it has paid a peppercorn rent and it is not yet known if the new owner will raise the rent.
