Hedd Wyn - The Hero
Story of Hedd Wyn ( born Ellis Evans), Trawsfynydd poet who won the chair in the 1917 National Eisteddfod in Birkenhead having died at the First World War battle of Passchendaele a few days before. That year the Chair was covered in a black cloth.
