Controller of Drama at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ John York has said that EastEnders does not offer a realistic portrayal of working-class life and is not as multicultural as the real East End of London, more than a hundred thousand people in the UK are on the waiting list for an allotment and the trial has begun of the man accused of kidnapping and murdering teenager Milly Dowler.
