Derek Brockway heads to the foothills of Cader Idris, for a glorious riverside walk from Abergynolwyn to the romantic Castell y Bere, a 13th century Welsh stronghold, and then follows in the footsteps of Mary Jones, a fifteen year old girl who, back in the year 1800, walked 26 miles barefoot to buy a Welsh bible.
