Pembury Hospital, Pfizer in Sandwich and a beached whale in Thanet

Bosses at the new Pembury Hospital say it is being overwhelmed by women wanting to give birth there. A 45-foot-long sperm whale has died after becoming stranded at Pegwell Bay near Ramsgate in Kent.

The latest files to be released by the National Archives reveal in 1967 a UFO hoax by students at Farnborough Technical College in Hampshire drew the attention of four police forces, a bomb disposal unit, the Army and the Ministry of Defence's intelligence branch. Dom talks to Donald Simpson who was studying at Farnborough Technical College at the time and remembers the incident.
