Despite criticism of his grasp of economics, Gerry Adams insists he will represent Sinn F茅in in any leadership debates during the Republic's election. Two weekend opinion polls suggested Sinn F茅in is sitting on between 10 and 13 per cent of the vote - not far behind Fianna F谩il on 16 per cent. Mr Adams is battling candidates from Fine Gael, Fianna F谩il, Labour and the Greens as he seeks to win a seat in County Louth.
