Veg Garden – harvesting and planting spring cabbage
Autumn is harvest time. There’s the last of the beans to collect, sweetcorn to harvest and onions to lift and dry. If, like Carol, you sow spring cabbage seed in pots in summer, they can be planted out into the spaces cleared after harvest time. That way there will be fresh spring cabbage for the following spring.
