A Spanish lawyer is at Stormont to publicise the case of Northern Ireland investors who lost up to six million pounds in a failed property venture on the Costa del Sol. Most of the people lost about seventy thousand pounds when they placed deposits on apartments that were never built. The DUP MLA Jimmy Spratt has been describing how he lost a 1,000 pound in the scheme but narrowly avoided losing a much larger sum. He told our Business Correspondent Kevin Magee how his plans for a retirement home almost became a nightmare.
