Big things beckon for Jermaine Trilla Trilloski in 2011 according to 麻豆约拍 Radio 1Xtra staff and DJs. Born Jermaine Alleyne in Birmingham, West Midlands, Trilla has built up a name for himself in both the grime and bassline scenes, and has garnered over 3 million collective YouTube hits. 2010 saw him perform at almost every urban nightclub in Ayia Napa, as well as a slot on Radio 1鈥檚 In New Music We Trust stage at the annual flagship event Big Weekend. Coming from a DJing background, Trilla learnt to play various instruments as a child, becoming an MC at the age of 15 and winning a MC battle competition at school. During his college years his reputation as a DJ and MC grew and he recorded his first track whilst studying for a Law degree at University. 1Xtra was the first national station to playlist his single Who Are Ya? and tip him for the spotlight in 2011.
