The services that vulnerable children in Kent depend upon for safety and quality of life have been judged as inadequate.

Ofsted released a report which ruled that the safeguarding of children and services for those in care do not meet minimum requirements.

Chris Mills, a child protection researcher and consultant from Otford tells Dominic King times are really tough for social services at the moment.

Andrew Cresswell was brutally murdered in Pluckley in 2008. Two years on, his sister renews her appeal to catch his killer.
