Gum blaze
Eucalypts almost seem to encourage their surroundings to burst into flames. Many have thick and insulating bark able to withstand all but the most ferocious fires. Some of these gum trees even need a good blaze to release their seeds and provide a fertile bed of ash on which their seeds will later sprout.
