Charles Hazlewood begins a three part exploration of the impact made by jazz and dance music in European music during the 1920's and 30's. He is joined by soprano Tara Harrison, tenor Alan Oke and the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Concert Orchestra for an audience workshop on the little known but highly personal music Kurt Weill composed for Georg Kaiser's 1933 anti-Third Reich play with music, Der Silbersee. (The Silver Lake).
