Summer Scheme at Upper Crossgar
In August, the Ulster-Scots Agency put on a number of summer schools for children aged 6-16 to tell them more about Ulster-Scots, the music, the history, the culture and the language.
The schools chosen were in Kilkeel, West Belfast and Upper Crossgar near Dromara - and it is the latter that Liam Logan visits for a bit of learning with the weans.
Liam has a word with William Wallace who is a pipe major in the local pipe band.
Jim Millar of the Ulster-Scots Agency gives an overview of the programme and Liam chats to Maynard Hanna, also from the Agency. (Broadcast: 3 Sep 2006)
