Gardeners' World - How to keep herbs growing all winter
Sowing coriander now and protecting it with a cloche means you can have an endless supply of leaves in the depths of winter.
Now is also a good time to rejuvenate old pots of mint. Knock the plant out of its pot, remove any weak or dead central sections and pot up the outer, more vigorous parts of the plant.
You can also pot up small amounts of mint indoors and so force the plant to grow and produce a fresh flush of leaves for your Christmas dinner.
