A pair of razorbills is fighting on the sea. They are so absorbed in their struggle that they fail to notice a great black-backed gull which seizes the opportunity to attack. The gull grabs one of the razorbills, but suddenly the razorbill escapes. A slow-motion replay shows how - it pecked at the gull's eye, forcing it to let go. Despite the gull attack the two razorbills go back to their fight. The gull attacks again and both razorbills dive to safety. Calm seems to return, but one razorbill makes a sneak attack on the other by swimming underwater and attacking from below. The victim of the submarine attack flees.
