Meadbh McGinley performs "Knocking on Heaven's Door"
15 year old pianist Meadbh MGinley performs a cover version of Bob Dylan's classic "Knocking on Heaven's Door".
Meadbh started playing the piano aged 7, and at present studies in Vienna with professors and pedagogues of piano.

Meadbh began playing piano at the tender age of 7 yrs old. At which time she attained the highest mark throughout the UK for her first piano exam receiving the bronze medal from Trinity College London.
She began composing at this young age and became a student of the RIAM (the Royal Irish Academy of Music) when she was 8 years old where she studied piano and violin.
Meadbh was Guest of Honor in the Palace of Westminster where she performed for dignitaries when she was ten, and has won numerous awards. She won the composers prize at the International Piano competition in Vienna, the Jazz Improvisation prize and the Edvard Greig Prize at the age of 12 yrs. She has studied masterclasses with some of the worlds most prestigious professors and composers such as Philip Martin (USA), Douglas Humphries (USA), Jorge Sanz-chong (Venezuela), Kattayama (Japan) and our own Kevin O’Connell and Chris Norby to name but a few.
At present Meadbh studies in Vienna with professors and pedagogues of piano. She is a singer songwriter and ultimately hopes to become a conductor, and someday conduct her own compositions.
