Europe's elder statesman Romano Prodi rejects fears that the Euro might collapse. And he argues Europe will be able to help Greece out of its debt crisis.

The leaders of Europe say they have agreed a plan to help Greece overcome its crippling financial crisis and safeguard Europe's embattled common currency, the euro. But how this will be achieved is still not clear.

How worried should Europe be? Lesley Curwen speaks to someone who should know, Romano Prodi, who twice served as Italy's Prime Minister, and was President of the European Commission from 1999 to 2004.

He rejects suggestions that the Euro might collapse. And he argues Europe will be able to help Greece out of its debt crisis, without needing any assistance from the International Monetary Fund.
