Pushing boundaries
As the villages that lie close to the Sundarbans expand, wood and other forest resources are being used up. People are also illegally poaching deer, the tiger’s favourite wild prey. Several villagers are interviewed and it's clear that they not only realise that the tiger is going hungry as a result of the thinning tree cover and reduction in prey, but that they recognise that wiith no food in the forest, the tigers might come to the villages for an easy meal.
