Jeff Zucker, Head of NBC Universal
As the head of NBC Universal, Jeff Zucker wants to know how we will be watching TV in the future. His cable channels make a lot more money than the NBC network. So what's next?
Jeff Zucker says the TV was always on in his home when he was growing up. He went to work in television sports and news and now, as head of NBC Universal, he manages one of America's oldest TV networks, NBC, along with a host of cable channels. It's the cable channels which make the most money but it's NBC which gets all the press coverage -- most recently for a row over a slight change to a treasured programme, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. So what do we want from television? And how do we want to watch it? Owen Bennett Jones gets the picture from Jeff Zucker.
